The WL-3560 is an IEEE wireless LAN PCMCIA card that can operate in either ad-hoc mode or infrastructure mode. IEEE 802.11G uses the 2.4Ghz frequency band the same as 802.11B, but it provides almost five times the throughput than 802.11B. With the latest integrated super G technology the maximum data rate of the WL-3560 is 108Mbps per second. The WL-3560 is backward compatible and interoperable with IEEE 802.11B compliant wireless devices.
